Protected transitions and casings applications The polyethylene / metal protected transitions are used to connect the mains supply to recipient installations under pressure of up to 5 bar. The casings are installed at the mouth of the PE/Cu protected transitions to protect the copper pipe.
Certified Products The Torre protected transitions have been awarded the Aenor "N" mark with the certification number 053/000015.
Standard The protected transitions and the casings are manufactured in accordance with standards UNE 60.405 and EM-079-E.
Versions and sizes
PE/ steel protected transitions: 1", 1 ¼" and 2"
PE / copper protected transitions: 22, 42 and 54mm.
Casings: DN 25, DN 32 and DN 50. These are used along with the 22, 42 and 54mm PE / copper protected transitions respectively.

Identification All the Torre protected transitions carry identification marks, specifying batch and serial number. These are supplied with their corresponding materials and manufacturing certificates.
External Plug The protected transitions have an external plug, welded to the polyethylene pipe, which makes air-tight testing of the recipient installation easier.
Casings The casings measure 2 meters in length and are supplied with a rubber plug.
