CEDEC - UNDER PRESSURE DRILLING KIT

Under pressure drilling kit CEDEC applications
Cedec kit is used in the installation of Cedec saddles and connectors. Contains all the necessary elements for drilling pipes of cast iron, asbestos cement, polyethylene and PVC.

Tool box
Made in damp-resistant plywood, with reinforced metal corner pieces. The inside is divided into compartments for correct kit storage.

Drilling machine
Manufactured completely in hardened steel. The compact nature of this drilling machine makes it ideal for use in areas with restricted accessibility. It comes with a drain valve for emptying shavings accumulated during drilling. This same drill, along with the Giga kit components, is used to install the 2½", 3" and 4" under pressure Tees.

Operating the drilling machine
The drilling machine is designed to be activated by means of the ratchet wrench, which is supplied along with the kit, or with an electric, pneumatic or hydraulic motor.

Milling cutter tools
The kit includes milling cutters and drill bits for drilling cast iron, asbestos cement, polyethylene and PVC pipes. All the Torre milling cutters incorporate an exclusive drill anchoring system using octagonal shaft. The milling cutters for PE and PVC have a special "zero chips" design, collecting all the shavings/chips produced during the cutting process.

Kit maintenance
In spite of the fact that this kit does not require any special maintenance, it is advisable to clean and lubricate the drilling machine from time to time. It is also recommended to dry the kit after each use to avoid limescale deposits.
