Under pressure saddle GOLF applicationsSaddles with threaded coupling for installing dry or under pressure service connections on cast iron and asbestos cement pipes for up to a nominal maximum pressure of 16 bar in water. These are also used with excellent results on polyethylene and PVC pipe networks with a molecular orientation.
Versions The Golf saddles are produced for under pressure tapping (Plus) and dry tapping.
Collar components The collar is made up of a saddle (upper part) and a strap (lower part). The saddles are equipped with a universal seal that fits all pipes from 60 mm up to 300 mm.
EPDM joint with WRAS and ACS CertificatesAll Torre saddles are equipped with EPDM joints with drinking water certificates.
WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme)
ACS (Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire)
Maximum corrosion resistanceThe different materials that make up the GOLF saddles are electrically insulated to prevent galvanic type corrosion.
The straps incorporate weld free manufacturing techniques to avoid inter-granular corrosion.
Maximum water-tightnessGolf Plus provides maximum water-tightness for pressurised service connections since, in addition to the inner joint, there are two O-rings seals and an external sleeve affording the saddle maximum safety and reliability.
Convenient installation The compactness of the Torre drilling equipment and the strap anchoring system make it possible for these collars to be installed in places with restricted access and in any vertical, horizontal or sloping position.
Capping off service connectionsIn the under pressure collars, by moving the sleeve and inserting the spatula, repair work can be carried out on the service connection network or the tapping can be capped off by means of inserting a threaded plug.
Storage advantages Saddles and straps alike are supplied in labelled boxes to make handling, storage and identification easier. Each box comes with a brochure including detailed assembly instructions.
