Under pressure tee GIGA PVC applications
Under pressure collars are designed for large diameter branches and by-pass diversions. They can be installed on polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) oriented strand pipes for up to a nominal maximum pressure of 16 bar in water.
Connection types
There is a flange on the top part of these Giga collars meeting the DIN standard and to which any type of standard accessory can be attached.
The lower part includes a two piece collar scritable for mounting on any PE or PVC-O pipe.
The specific collar size must be chosen depending on each branching size and pipe diameter.
Certification for contact with potable water
All the components in contact with water have the appropriate accreditation certificates for potable water.
Maximum corrosion resistance
The different materials that make up the Giga tees are electrically insulated to prevent galvanic type corrosion.
Slide plate shut off
To carry out the under pressure connection operation, the water flow is interrupted, by means of inserting the stainless steel slide plate that is supplied with the Giga equipment.
Easy to install
The reduced size of the Torre drill allows these collars to be installed in difficult-to-reach areas and in any position: vertical, horizontal or inclined.
Capping off service connections
By loosening the nuts and inserting the slide plate, repair work can be carried out on the service connection network or the tapping can be capped off by means of inserting a blind end flange.
Easy storage
Collars are supplied in appropriately labelled boxes to facilitate their handling, storage and identification. Each box contains a flyer with assembly instructions, information regarding their application and the size cutter which should be used.
