Grupo Torre has donated an important amount of clothes to Càritas Barcelona. This initiative was started consequent to the renovation of working clothes. 2014 figures show US as the first world producer of oil and derivates (including natural gas) with nearly 14 million barrels/day, followed by Saudi Arabia with 12 million and Russia with 11 millions. If we refer exclusively to natural gas Russia is placed second after the US.
From 1st to 5th June the 26th World Gas Conference took place in Paris with around 4000 delegates from all over the world and 500 speakers. This conference is a triennial event to be hold next in 2018 in USA (Washington) for the first time ever.
Last 19th and 20th May, Grupo Torre attended biennial conference of operations of American Gas Association that took place in Grapevine (Dallas, TX, US). More than 100 exhibitions of issues related with gas distribution operation were given with the audience of more than 500 operation managers of American gas companies and more than 150 exhibitors.

Grupo Torre has started manufacturing Supraflow® system under IPS sizes standards, for markets working with them. It integrates a whole line with Supraflow® 4″ and 6″ outlet, for mains ranging from 4″ (only for 4″ outlet Supraflow®) to 12″.
US is increasing its shale gas production and should reach 10 trillion cu ft by this year. World gas markets are being hit by a new bug offering player and seems to grow even more, as projections show figures of up to 20 trillion cu ft for year 2040.

Last October 20th and November 7th, Mr. Josep Maria Ripoll gave several training courses at Red de Gas headquarters in Madrid.
